I've got the same problem on my 1989 mini 30. I've been out to check tonight and I've got virtually nothing left of my rebound rubbers!!!. So I've ordered a new pair tonight and hopefully it'll cure the problem. How easy are they to replace?

Easy peasy as long as the screw doesn't round off, :D

I'll have to check mine next time I'm under it, but I'm sure they should be fine.  Maybe some poly ones here would help, being a bit stiffer?  As every time the car gets jacked up, they get crushed.

I've had mine up on axle stands for around 2 months. That's probably destroyed them. I'll change them when the new ones come through. Hopefully the screws won't round off.!!!!!
