Ok ive found a mk1 mini

ive been in contact with the person and he has just sent some pics

the mini is 150 miles from me but not sure what to make of it???

how much would you say its worth before i offer and drives all that way

i know its a full resto

i asked the normal questions the reply

Roof gutters are fine, boot floor intact and 2 spare wheels, main floor perforated.
some wheels jammed when pulled out of barns, dont know if sortable easily .
Have all documents from day 1 if that matters.

It looks complete so as long as there is paperwork of some form or another then its worth a punt.

I would offer £500 and see what happens.

This should be dry suspension my 1966 is hydrolastic and I'm sure they only made hydrolastic from late 1963 to 1967 the end of the mk1

Looks dry, Hydrolastic cars that have sat for a long time tend to have the wheels up in the arches.

I agree with sonikk, offer £500 and see what he says. Don't buy it for any more than 900-1000 though. It's not worth any more.

Reg transfers will say anything to sell a plate..
Only worth what your prepared to pay.. Remember restoration costs could top triple that price...
