ok so im back on the mini scene just bought a 1975 clubman, this one in fact

now its got a flip front (one of the reasons i bought it, plans for an engine transplant in the future)
but there is a serious gap between the a panel seam and the front, the bonnet pins are a bit wobbly so when i sort that out it may improve a bit but whats the best steps to take to get it fitting properly take it off start again, new front, lose the hinges go with pins all round? there is no clips or anything on the side just the pins on top hinges on front
