Can anyone tell me what ignition coil this is? I've had my mini parked up at the bottom of the drive for a year and a half waiting for a resto. I thought I should try and start it and when I flipped the front I noticed someone had helped themselves to some of the parts!! I just want a replacement but with it not there now I don't know what I'm looking for. See the pics of before and after to see what they took

Sorry but I just have to say what cheeky t**ts. I guess its not as bad as someone stealing the whole car or engine but still.

Looks to be just a standard 12v coil, Lucas dlb105 should do you.

Yeah tell me about it..... I've taken the battery out of the car plus a steering lock to deter people. I don't want to do anything to it till I get a garage, where its safe :) thanks for your info

Whoever did it knew what they were looking for. I just hope they don't come back and treat your mini as an Argos catalogue for parts and you'll wake up with half the engine missing...

Plus they must of done it in the dead of night to spend time taking these parts off and flipping front open and shut without being heard or seen.

Why this crap keeps happening everyday. Try to keep your car garaged..

Unless between the two pic it got rusty, then looks like they just replaced the rocker cover with a crusty one, missing the cap too.

And the ignition coil as said above, 12v coil

It's sad really to say the least, it's not as if these parts are mega money either. I didn't feel the need to check under the front as its not going anywhere so when I finally did it was a bit daunting thinking someone had been sneaking around my mini whilst either I was out or asleep but I'm pretty sure it was done on a night... I'd love a garage now but I'm in the middle of saving for a bigger house with garage :D soon as that happens the mini is in it and the work begins

Yes we're talking about parts that are a tenner new, those scums really deserve to be catched while stealing a 10 quid coil. That will be interesting to see.
