It usually lives on these:
I need the bumper to hold the car down and as much air coming through the front to cool haha

I was having starter motor problems where the relay would click but the engine didnt turn over.
After reading through here though and a check of all connections of the ECU she now turns over and fires up first time everytime!
If there's one thing with these cars to bare in mind I would say that the more fun you have and the bigger the smile worn when you climb out, the more likely you need to have a quick double check of all components as they just shake themselves free eventually.

After a little excursion off road I decided to change the colour.
This should be the first Mini in the new BMW M5 Gunmetal Grey; POW!

One of these has arrived:
Also I've got a snap off kit to fit to the new steering wheel too:
Should only be a couple more weeks and the old #PUNISHR is back on the road!
In the mean time my boot consists of a hole:

Sadly nothing major dude. Bottom end bearing went so it's being rebuilt. However in the process I've learnt that I've got some extras that we weren't sure were actually fitted; baffle sump, Integra gearbox and LSD!
Don't you just love finding stuff you didn't know you had......
I bet you're looking forward to driving the car again, I know I would, after a few weeks of not being able to drive mine I get extreme acceleration withdrawals.

I've been craving a right foot induced tail wiggle for too long now!
My tax runs out at the end of this month so fingers crossed all the work is completed in time for a Halloween tunnel run :)

Hey Mini Forum!
Thought I'd give you an update as I've been quiet for a while!
The mini now has a rebuilt engine with uprated poly bushed mounts rather than the modified OEM Honda ones.
I've had a fair amount of work replacing the perspex rear engine cover with a proper ally plate contraption.
The rear side windows have been swapped from the air intake ones to plain perspex to help make the car look at little less "racey".
The cold air intakes have been relocated to a slim panel underneath the car.
CV gaiters replaced.
Windscreen replaced.
Now just got to make a choice on the interior for the retrimming of the headlining, carpets, rear engine cover and seats. I'm also having the arches hydro dipped (i think that is the process) in a carbon effect. I did look at re-purchasing carbon fibre but the cost for the weight saving didn't seem worth it overall.
Fingers crossed all will be over the line in the next few week. Phew!

Cheers Captain!
I've opted for hydro carbon dipping on the arches: http://youtu.be/V8wHglTJl6A?t=1m32s
Interior wise, I've gone for a spaced honeycomb (rather than the Blockbusters pattern) running vertically in the middle of the seats. This is instead of the diamond pattern on the bottom pic.
Similar to this:
Colour scheme wise though they will look like this (with the Punisher skulls :) )
Whilst they are being completed, Lee's Trim Shop are also making a bespoke carpet, mats, headlining and carpet for the rear engine ally plate cover.
All detailed with a blue stitch to tie in with the roll cage and harnesses.
ooooo exciting!

Have you got any pics with the rear louvres window in yet ?
I will have next week. The lourve is all bonded to the rear window now but the rear window isn't fitted.
