Thinking of dumping the dizzy and going to ECU.

Yeah commonplace thing with the mini!

A very good new system that's now around is called NODIZ. Really good, easy to fit it you are
Mechanically able and understand how an engine works. Reaserch the system, they have a really good website and matt (owner/developer) is really helpful!

It's excellent!

I went with megajolt lite jnr, easy to install and setup. I would probably go with nodiz now though having looked into it. I don't think it was available when I went with the megajolt. That said NODIZ is more exy, but i like the android digital dash!

Went with Megajolt 4 years ago - fit, tune, forget! Best thing I ever fitted to the Mini, especially as it doesn't drop below 38mpg daily town driving!

Although, if I was to do it now, I'm not sure what I'd go for. Problem with Megajolt is that the developers seem to have got bored with it. There was supposed to be an Android app that never materialised, and they were supposedly working on MJ2 with coil on plug etc. All seems to have gone very quiet now while they are working on Racecapture.

Nodiz is still fairly new so doesn't have the same number of proven users who can help with any problems, but I'm sure it will have in a couple of years!

I know of at least 5 people who have fitted th and have seen improvements in every instance of the cars reliability and performance. It's modern and is being advanced so fast I can't keep up! There has been two versions out already and now there is a mini version!! (just smaller and lighter and cheaper!!!)
