I am devising a plan to attach my glass fibre bonnet and was looking for suggestions. I have historically used dzus fasteners, but would rather fing a better solution. Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Ed

I did get them, purchased the sporty carbon covered ones.  I am using them on the top with PIP pins in the front lower corners.  The bonnet is having some work done, once I get it back I will shoot some photos.  (I guess it is time to start a build diary)

Pip pins can also be used as bonnet fasteners.

The pip pins are then used together with an anodized aluminium top and bottom part.

Several colours are available for the top and bottom part: red, black, blue and silver.

The most popular pip pins for these applications are: BAB-89-05-10, BAB-89-05-16 and BAB-89-05-20 which have a grip length of 1", 1.6" and 2" respectively.
