It was possible that only the arches and wheels were fitted, not the complete Sports Pack. Rover offered them separately through their accessories catalogue, so they could have been dealer fitted. Another way to check is if the car has the red Koni dampers fitted. Either way, I don't think yours is a factory SP simply because it is missing the aux gauges on the dash.

Anyway, it's a beautiful Mini and one you should be very proud of! Looks in great condition considering it's your daily driver.

So I think this must be a dealer spec 'sports pack' based on the comments. I didn't realise there was a difference to be honest. you learn something new every day. :genius:

She's starting to need a bit of bodywork TLC. I have a quote for the work which I initially thought was eye watering. I went away and priced up the cost of panels alone and suddenly the quote didn't seem that bad. I need to get her in for the MOT next month then if the are no expensive issues to fix i'll get the rear end done before winter sets in.

It's pretty hard trying to find someone that will weld these days nevermind someone that you feel you can trust with your mini

Thanks for the info and the positive comments.

So, this is probably the oddest angle i'll ever take a picture of the mni from. Was lucky enough to go on a hot air balloon flight from Temple Newsam in Leeds this evening, look what I snapped along the way

It still amazes me to this day every time I see a picture what shows the true scale of a mini compared to other cars.

It is funny. It makes it look like a toy/model car. Makes me think of one of those tilt shift photos

Early evening jaunt out to Castle Hill near Huddersfield. Was hoping to catch some nice sunset shots but was a wee bit too late.

Popped into a lovely pub in Huddersfield on the way home and parked next to this beauty

Might try and get some long exposure shots during the week since the nights are drawing in. Looking at getting some photo editing software as I'm not currently doing any post processing on my pictures.

Thank you again for the kind comments.

Not jealous at all  :shifty:

And its good to learn without post processing software, means you'll learn to get a better picture straight off the camera instead of relying on editing to save an image

Nightfire is one of the best MPI colours, no doubt. Beautiful Mini.

OK, so I know this is a bit girly, but since I am a girl I have 'parked' the bodywork issues for the time being and invested in some new dust caps.

I  love the minions . . . .
