Aluminium rad, thermostat blanking sleeve and a good well looked after water system should see you through:P

You may not have to get an aluminium rad, see what it's like with a thermostat blanking sleeve on first and a cleaned overhauled water system:P. Then if it's still hot an ally rad should fix it;)

I upgraded to an alloy rad and didnt notice a huge difference however when I fitted an addditional electrical fan then yes that made a big improvement. I'd suggest before changing the rad for half the money try an additional fan betweeen the rad and the inner wing or fit a six bladed fan which is even cheaper but will make more noise and sap a tiny amount of engine power. http://www.minispare...px|Back to shop

I think you'll find that aluminium isn't as effective at transferring heat as brass,so changing to an aluminium rad isn't the best thing to do.  Fitting a MiniSpares Super 2-Core is much better.

I live in Cyprus with similar temperatures (actually is was 45 last weekend)...

I have the two-core radiator from MiniSpares and the 6-blade 'hot climate' fan...

I have no problems with overheating at all... the fan is a little noisy but it does seem to move a huge amount of air through the radiator!

I have a SPI with aircon in Florida and I have not had any problems while driving. However, it has the auxiliary electric fan and that makes a big difference if idling for long or in stop and go traffic. I don't see any need to do anything special unless your cooling system is in need of service, i.e. new thermostat, new water pump, flushing sytem etc.
