Does anyone rate these?

also does anyone have any other rims that they would suggest for mini's ? apart from the usual minilites

Personally I'm a big fan of Superlights and Revolutions

I think those wheels look too modern for a mini, the classic mini is a design from the late 50's and those wheels are more a 80's - 90's design, they just don't look good together...

I love em. That's why I had them for mine ;)

One word of warning though, if they are made like they made mine, the laquer has started to come off on mine and they have been fitted around 3 years.

Revolutions, Mambas or Slotmags - my choice would be one of those 3.

Currently have the standard Rover Minilites on, soon to change to a set of the above.  :)

I agree with RedRallyMini that Starmags look a bit too modern for me, but depends on overall look of your Mini and of course, you're own opinion.

They're just a tiny bit ripspeed for me, they'd need some dish and for the spokes to be smaller and further in to go on any car of mine. Oh, and take away the shineyness in the centers! :P

Some Midland wheel models are notorious for bad quality and not lasting long, lacquer peel is a real problem. I would look out for some old, used but good condition sets on Ebay and here,  since I'm sure they'd last the test of time better.

i do have a set of 12" revolutions which are meant to be getting resprayed because the laquer was peeling,  not getting them sprayed until about 2 weeks, i think i might wait until they are sprayed and see if they suit me then, if not i will sell them and look for something else, i was thinking of the starmags because im having my mini tartan red, black roof and black group 5 arches so i was thinking that they would suit it, just have to wait and see

I think those Starmags belong in a skip.

Dunlop D1s are an excellent choice.

I have a set of original Dunlop alloys on my mk2 and like them, also the classic mini lite wheel although probably to common now. Really need to see a pic of them on the car though

I like them. Mine has Wolfie supaslots on, but mostly because that's what was on my first mini YAU930S before it was written off.

Anything but Minilite style wheels! As above, wash them regularly and watch for lacquer peel!
