Not a lot of love for minilites!

I think Genuine minilites are really classic looking!

Anything but Minilite style wheels! As above, wash them regularly and watch for lacquer peel!

Completely disagree! Minilites are the only alloy that really suits a mini imho.

Gonna start a serious debate here and its as well we all like different things and fit different parts to our minis or they would all look the same, but there are some seriously tasteless wheels out there fitted to minis.

The reason minilites were fitted originally was because people weren't happy with the steel wheels so surely that sets a precedent that anything goes? I took minilites off mine for a couple of reasons, one of which was that they are everywhere so become boring to me. I now have wolfie supaslots (as I did on my first ever mini) and think they look brilliant. The mini managed to span 6 decades so any wheels can suit a mini really, especially later cars. Some I like more than others but mostly I just love to see something different.

This is the best post in this topic.

I completely agree, it's nice to see people doing different things rather than just sticking safe with Minilites. I have personally never seen 10" Starmags actually fitted to a Mini so you would have more of a different looking car.

My jimmies get rustled when people say the starmags don't suit minis, or are not as nice as minilights.

Mine are 12" but i don't think my mini looses any of it's classic feel with them, i think they look nicer than my older mini lights.

I rarely see these on other minis. Most have minilights. I think having a mini is an individualistic experience, mainly because of all varying styled parts available. I think my car looks more classic then it did on the 12x5 rsp Wheels.

But as above orig. A mini is about celebrating diverse tastes and styling choices
