i thought those bolt on ones where different for the front and rear of the subframe?

does the one at the rear bolt into the same holes that would be used to mount the other typr exhaust fitting?

I have those type hangers on mine. one fits the the front end of the subframe where the usual rubber block fixes the two captive bolts.

The other hanger bolts up inside the front facing edge of the rear LH side of the subframe near where the rubber doughnut sits.

Sorry if this sounds coplicated but i cant draw it too quickly.

It took me a while to figure out but they fit fine.

PS both brackets should be different, if you have both the same that is a problem

Don't you need a specific later subframe? The ones that had hung exhausts as standard? Saying this without looking into it! lol

nah you can buy these bolt on hangers instead of using all the cotton rel mounts etc. but then you need an exhaust that has hangers on.

does it not mount in the same place as the rubber mounts would? using the same holes.

i will try and find a pic of mine

here is a pic.

Mine has the exhaust hangers already welded on but that is the rough position that you want it to be.

The arrow points to where I think you should bolt on your hanger.

Havent figured out how to get photo's from my camera under 4mb onto my PC!!

Arrow on photo above is right and bracket for rear mounts inside the ushape of the back subframe cross piece. the photo shows how the hanger should sit. The other bracket bolts top centre as shown on photo to existing holes in subframe.

i'll take a pic of mine tomorrow if no-one else has. i got a proper one the other night and fitted it in less than 5 mins its that easy. I'd been using a home made hanger up until then.
