is it safe to drive a car about 10 miles with only the tower subframe mounts.

Not without the floor mounts. You probably get away without the front mounts.

Why do you need to drive a mini with only the tower mounts in place??

because because my lower mounts arent actually doing anything because the panel wheres theyre mouns has pretty much collapsed, also im in the proccess of flip fronting my mini so i only have the solid tower mounts on. need to drive it to the bodyshop to get the panel fixed

i'd at lest try and lash the back mounts to somthing....what i have no idea. also whats to stop basicaly the engine from swinging round when you put the anchors on. sees like on of thoses very bad idea mouments. i'd weld somthing in place for a while then stick some bolts thro to hold it in place at lest till it was fixed.....then again i probly would drive the car and seeming as your going to get the car's floor welded i'm assuming you don't have a welder.

how about i put the solid tower mounts as well as the solid front mounts then drive it to get the floor mounts fixed. then wen i get it back i can just take my front mounts back off and reattach my brace bars. would this be ok

No, don't do it, get it trailored! Not only will it be dangerous to drive in terms of handling and an engine not properly secured it will also be illegal, certainly won't be worth it if you get stopped by the police, or worse (and more probable considering the state of the car), crash.

i had look today, and it seems i have been driving my car for a while with only the tower mounts actually working sso im gunna drive it anyway, im in jersey so its not like im doing 70 on a motorway

how do i move the subframe away from the floor mounts without dropping the subframe

Dropping the subframe is what you do to remove the foor mounts
