From what I know its a standard box but with a modified selector system to make for smoother changes !

just modded selector mechansim, im sure he'll incorporate one into a rebuilt box or mod the selectors on an exchange basis if u want them in your own rebuild.

its not the bias spring no.
its a modification to the standard selectors and mechanism - takes about 5 mins to do. Have done it on a few of the boxes i've done. Makes the 2nd to 3rd gear change a lot 'slicker'
No problem with high miles. if you delve inside and see what happens between 2nd and 3rd - i'm sure you could work it out

Hi Smudger,
Normally going from 2nd to 3rd, the stick moves up, across and then up again into gear.
The Doddy mod makes the movement more of a diagonal movement with a slight kink when going between these gears, and hence makes it a lot smoother when going 2nd to 3rd of back again.
Other than that, it's a standard box.
