just modded selector mechansim, im sure he'll incorporate one into a rebuilt box or mod the selectors on an exchange basis if u want them in your own rebuild.

contact him on http://www.specialistminiforums.com or http://mlmotorsports...o.co.uk/forums/

its not the bias spring no.

its a modification to the standard selectors and mechanism - takes about 5 mins to do. Have done it on a few of the boxes i've done. Makes the 2nd to 3rd gear change a lot 'slicker'

No problem with high miles. if you delve inside and see what happens between 2nd and 3rd - i'm sure you could work it out :P

Dave

Hi Smudger,
Normally going from 2nd to 3rd, the stick moves up, across and then up again into gear.
The Doddy mod makes the movement more of a diagonal movement with a slight kink when going between these gears, and hence makes it a lot smoother when going 2nd to 3rd of back again.

Other than that, it's a standard box.
