[ToM 2012]

so this morning i was working away went to find some drywall screws to carry on boarding and then put my foot on a bag of nails and one was sticking up and went in the front of my foot! so i shout whoooaaa took me shoe of and me sock had a look and had a nice hole with abit of blood coming out so put me sock back on and shoe and carried on working limping and squelching away all day long got back home thought thank f*** for that and now it feels like i am walking on a ball i hope its ok for work in the morning if it still hurts ile have to put packers in my shoes to level it out. anyone else ever done a saft trick like this?

Not going to stop mk1 progress i hope  , seriouly though T, make sure you clear it out and keep it wrapped up, otherwise you might in the worse case get an infection and have to have your foot, maybe you leg removed depending on how long you ignore it.

ayyyy ? i hope not  ive just put some tcp on it and i have give it a scrub. hopefully i can walk on it tomoz or ile have take that cobble out your shoe! all day.

it stopped me tonight i was going to go garage after work but i thought forget it i just need to get home and give this foot a rest been going all day lol

It'l still be sore in the morning tom, have you got memory foam inserts ? suggest you can a few pair form asda or somewere tonight and stick them all in your shoe and sock, wrap it in a fresh bandage the ltest you can tomorrow so it gets time to "breath2 over night and keep it clean and fresh as possible, couldn't be a worse job for this kinda injury, on your feet allllll day sweating haha

I once jumped on a plank of wood with a nail in it when I was a kid.

 

The nail came out the top of my foot and I just put the other foot on the plank next to my impaled trainer and lifted my foot off the nail....

 

Think it was just a shock, so i did it without thinking. Couldn't do it nowadays, I'd probably faint.

 

Weird thing was it didn't bleed at all and I remember limping to school for one day, but never got it checked out and wasn't really sore....

 

Although that'd be over 30 years ago now!!!

was doing some bloody squelching lol hopefully will all be good in the morning i dont have any foam pads but i have a sponge i could cut down lol ile just put some thick winter socks on and hopefully cushion it out. i am deffo going garage tomoz night mk1 panels are hopefully here tomoz aslong as m machine dont take ages to deliver she did say thursday. cheers tom

ouch! i bet that killed i have done it before but didnt go into my foot just went underneath my shoe and just stopped before it come out i just got the claw hammer and pulled it out lol so this time it has got me for good.

Me too!  I slashed myself with a stanley knife across my thigh when I slipped....

 

I fainted, slide down the wall and woke up in a heap on the bathroom floor

Well, that's the strange thing, I seem to remember it stinging a bit and then it just went numb.

Wheni was a wee lad i was running home up the back street and there was a corner house a few doors down the had those concrete fence postings that fences slot down into and it was all chewed up and cracked with rebar showing, somehow as i was running by i caught my hand and it yanked me back cutting a chunk out the back of my right hand and showing the vein, as a kid i was curious at this greeny/ purple thing in my hand so i touched my vein!! ahah damn that was weird :s

 

Still have the scarr and just checked to see which hand it was on whilst typing haha, ton's of other scar/stories

Back in school days I remember the lad sitting next to me in science started to get a nose bleed and I saw the blood dropping out his nose. I actually thought I was gonna fall of the science lab stool. I got sent out of class for over reacting lol. Not my fault

ahhh man thats making me cringe thinking about it.
