I dunno, something not quite right about it in my opinion. I think they might look good on the A-panels. Just my opinion of course.

I did think about putting them just behind the rear quarters.... But I think I will leave as the last piccy's..... I've just welded all the holes up and zinc primered lol

It'd look ton's better without the grille surround lip on the bonnet james, get rid of that (drill out the spot welds) and stick the speedwell badge 1 row down from the side mounted grille shot and should look cracking, have you thought about something like bonnet straps or clips or something along those lines thats period ? i think thats what you could be missing

hi cliff..... ive got a tan buckle that i took off the bonnet.... regarding the lip .... i was going to remove it but fill it in so it makes the bonnet the same shape if you know what i mean matey....

really not a fan of having it above the mini badge, sorry  :whistling: ... i quite like the one with it in the top corner of the grille tho

Ahh yeah fill it like a door gap with weld ? a gap similar to the front panel to wing seams would be wise i reckon, around 5mm at a guess id say, would look smart but id drill two holes, one either side of the front slam panel and insert little rubber buffers to stop it bottoming out and scratching the paint ect..

 

Should be able to find some decent ones in a local scrap yard J :) , the smaller details that matter you see ;D

Hi cliff..... Il take the lip off and see how it looks before I fill it in as it may look ok , little rubber buffers is a cracking idea matey and would get rid of the metal tinny sound for sure....;0)..... The badges are staying put !!!!!!! Lol
