Hi,

I have a 1992 Cooper and i was wondering if anyone knew the range of resistance the fuel sender should have?

If anyone has got one laying about they could stick on a meter for me that would be brilliant. I think its about 100 Ohms but not sure. Im fitting an electrical instument cluster and need to set it up, it asks what the fuel sender resistance range is and gives values upto 510 Ohms.

Think it's still 270 ohms, you could set it low and increase it until it reads right.

You'll only get a reply if someone who knows the answer sees it. Unfortunately the more clued up you are, the more specific your questions 'n the more likely they are to slip off the radar without an answer. You can get crafty by looking at when you post, or bump questions with the hgelp of the forum home page to see who's online.
