you can fit hillman imp pistons this will take you out to +135 if i remember correctly, you need to have the bores offset machined and you need the pistons which might be hard to find.

I used to travel to work every day along Coopers Green Lane and, yes, that back road from Sandridge can be very exciting.

The loop up to Shaw's Corner and round and back to the Wheathampstead to Codicote Road is also good. A friend rolled a new 850 Mini which he had borrowed between Ayot House and the Codicote Road one night after leaving the Brocket Arms (san no more - it was in 1961!).

Ive heard about these imp piston conversions, but for all that trouble, i'd just rather fit the imp engine

Theres some good roads and they're brilliantly clear if you catch them the right time of night. Yeah it 1961 it certainly hasnt changed much! From working in a couple of pubs around here i can tell you it sadly still happens
