We are looking at entering a long distance rally next Summer to raise money for charity.

Now at current I can get about 80-100miles out of the 25 litre tank currently fitted.

What are the biggest tanks you've managed to fit?

Also, as the journey is through Spain during the Summer we are looking at ways to ensure the Mini runs cool enough.

What sort of set ups are you guys running rad wise for water and oil?

My original setup for the rad was done in such a way that no air could escape above or to the sides of the rad, ideally I would have done the same to the bottom edge but had other plans that I still haven't put into place quite yet. This way all the air that comes through the grille will go through the rad, rather than bouncing off all around the rad.

Re the fuel tank, I think its a case of getting a special made for that and optimize all teh space you have under the bonnet, not going to be easy.
