David appears to have three threads all dedicated to his work, so I'm posting in all of them
We met at Bingley and after chatting via whatsapp, Facebook and TMF I ordered one USB auxiliary switch for my mini and one for my partners car, plus a set of his savage switches.
I'm afraid to say I'm a bit like a magpie and like shiny and bright things and David put up with my requests to have different coloured led lights and a union jack rear plate. When the switches arrived they were top quality. I was very impressed.
I had mine installed by a auto electrician, as I was having other electrical work completed and he remarked what good quality the switches were and easy they were to fit.
David kept me informed every step of the way, provided quality fitting instructions and made top quality switches. I would recommend him to anyone who wanted any type of electrical upgrade or bespoke kit.
Below is a picture of the switches installed. I know the colour etc is not going to be everyone's cup of tea but each to their own. The union jack panel was done by Martin Cull, roofless or sticky fingers. The dash is the original walnut one which has been removed and sprayed OEW to match my roof.

I've also bought a megajolt loom from him which is superb quality.
I'm really excited about getting the car all wired up

Thanks Jo,
But can you please square up the headlight switch as it's driving my crackers - my OCD is kicking in!!
Carl - yes, I know the re-wir is looming. It will be emotional no doubt but we will complete it and prove we are the classic mini wiring people to watch!

Got nothing but praise for David (wiredwilson). Not only has he built me the loom, he supported me the whole way with fitment + ideas, given advice at stupid hours when ive broken down, and sent numerous extra bits of loom each time ive broken Nelly through my own fault.
He discovered a minor problem with the micra loom mk1 which meant i couldnt accelerate hard without popping a fuse, so he found out all the info he needed and sent me a patched loom part FOC within 2 days.
Thats what i call service! Hes a Great friend and a lovely guy to talk to. Thumbs up from me!!

Thanks Niki.
It was frustrating at times with Nelly testing us until we got her right - hopefully she is happy and settled now :)

Thanks Gazp,
Not everything is about profit - we also like to support people wanting to do things themselves and pleased we helped you diagnose the issue :).

Minigpower.
What can I say - we try and what we don't know we research and keep you informed if we don't know. We believe business is built on trust and transparency - which you can only gain from being honest.
We have 20 years practical exposure to all makes of cars for servicing and repairs, but only lately have we decided to push the electrical side into the forefront. After a mini we had in for MOT caught fire due to inline fuses being bypassed and the interior light pinching the live we turned to protecting classics.
Look forward to speaking with all possible customers and helping them complete their mini dreams :)

I just wanted to write a good review for Wilson too.
Great service and at a great price too.
Made me a brand new Megajolt loom from scratch which works excellently. It was customised to suit my engine bay layout too and where I had positioned the different components.
If anybody needs wiring done, David is the man

It's a shame more businesses and people can't work with the same principles as David.
Thanks

just to heap a little more praise on to the chap, he does indeed do all the things listed in this thread but i needed to push him and his nerves to their limits (and i did do just that). I installed a Honda Integra Type R into my mini, gave David the loom, clocks, ECU and Haynes manual and said sort that lot out. Around 8 months later he arrived at my house, with all the stuff i had sent him away with.
He had altered all the Honda loom, removing all the unwanted wires not needed, extended all the ECU wires and built bespoke control fuses to power not only the Honda but the Mini as well. Supplied all his upgraded goodies for the mini, savage switches including his first and only one so far start button, timed relay for the front and rear heated screens and to top it all off made the front light wires all demountable to allow for my flip front.
Needless to say after spending the whole of saturday installing everything, when we pushed the start button the engine roared into life straight away
