They look awesome how good do they work and what are they like to open and close ???? Have you removed the check strapes ??

They work well a little sharp when you open them, but shut nicely and hold shut!

I tried various other positions, had it test mounted on the bottom of the door, but got in the way with loading and unloading.
So they're now bolted into the old check strap bolt holes on the hinges, no check straps needed!

Minispares bonnet strut kit, aquired from a mate

Will be doing the bonnet next with some longer struts for the clubman front
