Hi Jon, I have a 1997 mpi I am restoring, I love the example pictures you have shown and I am very interested. Question , do you recover the door cards etc to match? And how do I select the style of panels and stiching. I am thinking red side bolsters with cream centre pleat/panels?

I would suggest contact via Facebook or Instagram as he is on both as JCS Custom Trim. I just realised I posted on this thread back when it started and I have just had a pair of SPI seats done and very happy with them. I had forgotten about this thread so a coincidence I actually used him for mine! He has a lot of pics of his work online and is helpful with choosing spec. I chose everything for my seats via Facebook messenger and he sent various pics for ideas etc

Thanks to this post I have just done a 300 mile round trip to pick up my newly covered interior from Jon.

 

I bought a cheap but local interior from an newer model.  The covers were knackered and the plastics were beige.  However I sprayed the plastics (and got a couple from a kind member on here) and then dropped them off last month.  They have been transformed complete with heated elements in the front seat base and back.  They do look great - highly recommended.

 

Also have door cards and arch covers to match - will upload a few more photos when unpacked and fitted.....just need to finish the soundproofing and fit the carpets first!

Rear arch trim, rear seats and door cards now fitted - also did the bin covers from Optimise too.  Really pleased with everything so far.
