Just wondered if anyone has ever seen this before its a single over head cam a series that rover done as an experiment before going with the K-series, i found it on this site (link below) and it sais that only a few were made i would love to get my hands on one of those!!

The engine on the left was a complete new prototype engine. The engine on the right is an OHC A series with a few other things altered and is one of only two still in existance, as far as any one knows, bit like the all aluminium A series blocks that know one thought existed till a few popped up not so long ago. The other is running in a Mini that Huddersfield Mini Spares own, I spent a long time looking over it.

Oh and it all fits under a standard bonnet, much like the 16valve BMW K heads

And here is the one that HMS own fitted and running, though it is just the head and not the altered block. Shame they left the block alterations till the 1997 MPi.
