I bought 3 things from dsn classic a brake servo plate a heater stub take off and a pressure relief valve cap
And the stub take off and pressure valve cap both of them in my opinion are crap
There is black marks all round the cap like its not been annodised properly and the stub has marks all round the surface were the bolts go though
What are dsn classics like wen you want to send somthing back?
Please give us a call when you get a chance or drop us an e-mail will some pictures please. As others have kindly said, we pride ourselves in customer service and will do all we can to assist.
Call them. I have had parts from them and did have an issue with the bulkhead plate for the heater hose. The holes didn't line up with the minispares engine steady and the hole wasn't large enough for the heater hose to pass through.
I contacted them and sent numerous photos and the reply I received was "well your engine steady is obviously wrong and ALL minis had 1/2" heater hoses not 5/8".
I wasn't impressed but at the end of the day I simply had to modify it myself.
But at least give them a chance to rectify it, I won't be buying from them again but that's my choice.
I wouldn't normally respond, but I feel I deserve the right to defend ourselves. But firstly, if you feel you were poorly treated, I apologise. It would never have been intentional.
With regard to your comments, what you were told is that cars with heater hoses passing through the bulkhead plate in that position always had 1/2" hoses. By the time they went to 5/8" hoses, they passed through the face of the bulkhead. The plates are manufactured to OE dimensions. The brackets on many 'ultimate' steady bars are not renowned for being the most accurate. They get away with it because the holes in the bulkhead are way over sized.
The plates, as supplied, work perfectly well. We cannot be responsible for other aftermarket products which you wish to fit in the same place.
We appreciate that you approached us with your concerns and we listen to everyone. However, in this instance, we felt it was not a fault in the product.
