I have a 1982 mini mayfair 998cc and was just wondering does anyone know where the headlights and brake fluid level test switch take their power from? They seem to be on a separate circuit from all the other electrics like the horn, indicators and hazards which source their power from the starter solenoid through a brown wire. Can't see where the lights and brake test switch power is taken from though?!
Headlight Wiring?

Browns are the main power feeds for everything in the car from the solenoid.
The brake fluid circuit starts off brown, goes through an inline fuse and then turns purple.
The lights main feed is Brown

Excellent cheers! Some previous owner has been splicing wires all over the place in my car at some point so I was finding it hard to work out and am having some electrical issues at the moment. With the info you have given me and the new starter solenoid I ordered I think I'll have it sorted now thanks
