Hi my name is Ben I'm new to this own a current mini Mayfair that I got from my step mums mum that I'm now the 2nd owner of for free it was sat on a drive for over 16years towed it back from Windsor two years back and cleaned carb and sparks put a bit of fuel in connected battery and she started very rough Idel but started :). Now have completely stripped car to a bear shell to do a full restore as some panels are rotten so am looking forward to hints and tips on restore of my mini as I'm a novice and very new to this.

Hi Ben and welcome to TMF. Plenty of info on here for all you will need to do your car bodywork wise.

 

Ask plenty of questions and we will do our best to answer them all. I have done one full body resto and in the process of another full body resto. Busy times.

Yep two years doing my sons car, i'm currently in the process of doing a Mini Special for a work colleague and also part way doing a mainstream Cooper. Then next winter my 75 Clubby is getting a full body resto. Not enough spare time. Welding along.
