Wow what a car! I have seen your pickup about and that was pretty impressive but this is a new level of tastiness! I think I had my Mini sprayed at the same place as your pickup Paul L in deal? Are you taking this beast out to any shows? I would love to see it.

Excellent, I suspect this car may clean up at every show you enter!
Love the "oil drip", my Mk1 manages to do that everywhere it goes

Stunning car! I live 10 miles from Santa Pod but had to go to London for work at the last minute so really hope I get to see it if you're at Stamford hall!

Went to Stanford hall today to see the traveller as I had seen the pictures from Uttoxeter last week.
What a stunning car, I hope you won a prize today, how did you go on? (we left early)
I have a 1965 traveller under LONG term restoration and it has inspired me to get mine done.
Will come and have a chat at one of the other shows.

Hi thankyou for your kind words. The traveller did very well it got 100/100 and car of the show
So all hours searching for parts and running around the country getting bits done has finally paid off.
Cheers spike.

You can fit the instrument cover plate in the bulkhead with a bit of adaptation of the hole for the speedo cable (and moving the voltage regulator), but as I doubt if you'll be driving it anywhere it's probably better to be able to see the nice shiny backs of the instruments!
Plus one for swapping the instrument faces back to black [/url]
