Hi all.

Some will of heard that i lost everything in a flood over christmas.

One of the things was my daily drive and i am waiting to hear from the insurers about it now.

I wonder if anyone has access to a Parker's guide or perhaps is in the trade and can tell me roughly what it is worth.

It is a 1999 V Citroen Xsara 1.4 West coast in excellent pre-accident condition. It has A/C E/W E/M CD player etc.

Nice car!

I have added a pic of it taken a few weeks back.

I just want a rough idea so i don't get taken for a ride by CIS and so i know how much to expect.

Thanks

Ben

I have asked around on cxoc.net and they seem to think it would be in the region of £500 before they deduct any excesses.

I have also looked on different valuation sites and they all differ immensely ranging from between £220 and £750 so its anyone's guess!

Cheers for the advice Jordon but i don't have AA.

A few on Ebay. The £1,550 one has less than 10,000 miles.

Thanks mate for looking at that. I hope they give me a reasonable amount as there isn't much choice under £500 that has a small engine which i need for economy.

I'm gonna have a look on ebay to see whats on the mainland.

I don't know how long they take to sort it out and pay up?

Cheers

Ben

No worries.

Have you looked at a Fiesta? They are pretty cheap.
