Just in case you haven't found it already, you can now download IPbuddy for your iPhone. It's not a massive improvement over accessing via safari but it does get you straight into the forum and has a handy refresh button.
Still waiting for a decent ip board app if anyone has found one

That's quite handy, though I can't see any difference over just using Safari, plus you get ads with this.

I've reset my phone since it started and it still does it

Are you in privacy mode? I'm fairly sure after every visit, it deletes any data associated with that website. If you are, try it in normal mode and see if that fixes it.

It's best to use Chrome on iPhone or iPad, it doesn't log you out ever!
