well basicly i have seen it the outher day in the car park and it had duck tape holing the head lamps in by the looks of things. it seems like a real shame that the car has been neglected

The neglect happened as soon as it was wrapped

I laughed when they did the Range Rover. They took the wheels off, which had almost bald tyres, and sent them for re-finishing, then after saying the re-finishing cost £300, they re-fitted the wheels and, well I never, they had all new low-profile tyres fitted, but no mention of the cost of the tyres in the final calculation. Then they claimed a 'profit' of about £1000.

I always picture Mike Brewer with a parrot on his shoulder saying "Fill it & spray it, fill it & spray it".

When did they do a Mk 1?, I must have missed it

Long time ago. It was a real bodge job. They did a very bad repair to an A-panel, then put the boot lid handle on 90 degrees out.
To cap it all they painted (badly) the engine, which should have been BMC Engine Green, black.
Then called it a 'real classic Mini'.
They didn't seem to have needed to do anything to the suspension, which is almost unheard of in Mini restoration.
