I think the admins are doing what they're suppose to do, would hardly call it being too serious, what would be the point of admins if they didn't enforce the basic rules (which most decent forums have)

We are doing a job that needs to be done. There are rules to be followed, if you do not care to follow the rules then please feel free to leave the forum. If you think you can just ignore them then the staff on here will pick up on it and deal with it as required.

I think the mods have got it spot on with requiring simple things like price and location, they are just looking after the rest of us ensuring no one gets diddled.

 

i feel there is nothing worse than looking at a for sale post with make me an offer or no price.

it had a price it was a bulk but but i stated ask if you want to buy clocks on their own

I know rules are rules but not all staff are rude etc but there are aome out there are just rude and think there the king but they just really ain't it's only a forum

The issue I have with threads with no price, is you get half a dozen posts with people asking how much, and then it's more than they are willing to pay so don''t reply!

 

If people want things valued, there's a valuation section.

 

The TMF team give up their time for free, I too pay a yearly TMF+ subscription. I'm not saying we get everything right every time, but we do our best.

 

I was a member on seatcupra.net and that was moderated to keep sponsors happy, threads were removed that suggested using a diesel laguna intercooler was better than the sponsors very expensive brand! There is also a Facebook page for members who've been banned from Cupranet for stupid reasons!

mate i wasnt having a dig at you as you did comply with the rules eventually. it was more of a general observation and pet hate of mine.

 

I feel it is sad that you have to leave the forum over a minor disagreement, just take a break and come back refreshed it aint all that bad.
