we are 1/2 way up the hill, it would take a very large floor for the river to reach up here

My heart goes out to anyone affected by the storms and flooding. Oxfordshire hasn't been affected by today's storms, although the county is fairly soggy. We had sunshine and showers and the photo below was taken this morning at MINI Plant Oxford. If you look closely, you can see Paddy, our Mk3 S in the bottom left hand corner

Lynmouth - North Devon (This Morning)
Not actually where I am currently, but somewhere I visit regularly. Lynmouth is famous for the great flood disaster in 1952 in which 24 died, despite extensive flood defenses being built afterwards to stop it ever happening again, Lynmouth appears to be under water once more.

stuck a cover over it to keep the worse of the rain out and haven't touched it in 3 weeks

i was working on a fishing boat today, i took this photo before the weather got really bad and i had to throw the owner of the boat my keys to move the mini before it got washed into the harbour or flooded. most of portavogie was flooded and the drive home was pretty damn ropey

the children got me out of bed early this morning to see the town again flooded
