Clutch Seizing Engine Problem!

Hopefully the entire engine was built up with assembly lube or at least engine oil so the thrusts have at least some lubrication!
Even with a heavy duty clutch, your problem shouldn't be happening.
Have you spun the engine over without the plugs in to build-up oil pressure before attempting to start it?

This is my thought too but the engine has been stood for a while. Yes i did spin the engine over before hand to raise oil pressure.
