Sorry but I'm misunderstanding. Why do you want 10x6 wheels then, as the main reason for wanting them is so you have to use arches and they poke out.

If you want no arches then use 4.5s!

Sorry I want to run 10x6 but would go down to 10x5 as I like wide wheels.

The back would be easy to do - chop out the boot floor and fabricate a non-independent beam axle on leaf springs on a custom subframe and you could run massively wide wheels and tuck them in as far as you wanted.

It would drive like crap, but that isn't the objective here.

To do a proper tight tuck I'd ditch the front wheel drive and go longditudinal - with the back axle setup as suggested it would be easy..
The front subframe could then be chopped and narrowed to suit.

If you did decide to do something daft like this, I'd suggest you DON'T do it to a pickup.
There are so few of them left (nice or nasty) that it would be a crime to chop it up and then realise it was a bad idea...

Also, be aware that the handling WILL be seriously degraded, and you WILL need to tell your insurance company. If they understand what you are doing, they should refuse to provide cover.

There is NEVER any legitimate reason to modify any car in a way which ruins the handling, and people doing that are one of the things which will eventually lead to a complete ban on modifying classic cars, as has already happened in Germany. This sort of thing is very damaging to us all, as well as being downright dangerous, so PLEASE DO NOT DO IT.

Ok ok I get it it's a bad idea.

So how would you recommend the best way to get the tucked look as Im finding so damn hard to find arches that look good on a pick up

You could weld some caster wheels on each corner? some swivvly caster ones at the front and you will probably be able to corner faster than that hunk-o-crap above. Be REET LOW!

You could lower the arch lines by welding extra metal on and lowering the seam strip that runs down the side and arches ? like that green eco car from the day after tomorrow

Some cars it suits - some it don't

proper hot rods look good , but are RWD so easier to tub the rear arches

as said above on a mini it's a lot of work + IVA etc

it would also roll on corners like a pig in a barrel

it's your car - but the pup's are getting rare
