Hi, we seem to have a problem with my brother's Mini Clubman. It recently had a full AP clutch kit installed not so long ago, but has sat for a short while and not been moved or anything. We bled the system to today and there is pedal pressure and pedal travel. The clutch arm has full movement. We put it in gear while stationery and then pressed the clutch in and tried to move the car forward and backward, but it wouldn't as the clutch wouldn't engage. I'll add that the engine isn't fully connected up yet, we haven't gotten there, we were just trying to establish that the clutch was fine, after the installation of the new kit as it was slipping before it was replaced. Any advice?
I hope it's easy enough to pick up what I'm trying to ask, just difficult to explain fully what's happening.
