I think (and agree with some people above)
Chrome wheels with no caps
Painted wheels with round nose caps
There is too much chrome with the wheel and caps for my taste
Hubcaps Or No Hubcaps? That's The Question....

If they were OEW then you would have been fine with no caps.
Being chrome, you need them otherwise wheels look unfinished.

Thanks for all your input guys. I'm going to paint a roundnose one black at the weekend to see if it make its look any better. If not, I'll look a getting some centre caps just to cover the hub nut.

Clubman hub caps look fine on a round nose, the round nose ones always seem too 'nice and pretty' for my liking

I like it with no hubcaps makes it look like an old racer :)
