evening all.

ok strange title i know but these are my problems and question.

1, greasing the car. how do grease nipple work. do i have to loosen them at all or do i put the gun on and start pumping..........hmm....that sounds weird.

2, my El Gordo's exsaughts mounts apper to be falling apart and i am in need of new one;s. which ones do i need or are they a universal thing. i got the stock exsaught on by the way on a 1982 998cc Austin Mini HL

Nope you don't loosen them, just sick the gun on and get pumping till you see fresh grease oozing out.

You should be able get them from places like minispares or even Halfords for some of them on a good day.

can someone show me what the very last mount looks like. i can find the block mount for the exsaught but theres a mount right near the end of the exsaught. i need that one as mine is currently a bit of rubber and thats about it.

nah.....well apart from the cotten bobbin one......that looks slightly confusing. also is there any rubber mounts near the engine for the exsaught. might as well get them while i'm at it.

Nope, no rubber exhausts mounts up front,

One tip while changing them is to use a small bottle jack or similar small jack to support the Weight of the exhaust giving you two hands free to work with.

Or you could do it the hard way…

While trying to hold the weight of the exhaust, while on you back with you arms stretched above you,
Trying to get the mounts off and then lining the new ones up, without letting the exhaust smack you,

I know what way I would prefer,

Also means you can have a rest half way though without leaving the exhaust to just hang down.
