Hi folks,

Anyone got any photos of the two lower mounting points for the rear seatbelts on a later mini (don't need the 'C' pillar one)? Is the outer one through the wheel arch or through the 'bench' part of the seat?

Thanks

You can buy an installation kit that includes the weld on brackets - source of a piccy at least.

This is where the corner mounts go in the boot

If you don't have the mounts then you can buy the correct ones as part of a kit from Somerford Minis

Isn't that a static belt mount? I was assuming the Op was after the Mpi reel mounting.

Hi Folks, Already have the C post mounting (removed from a scrap car) so just wanted to see where the two lower mounting points went and what they consisted of............have seen, as posted , the centre mounting points but can't quite make out where the outer ones go..........looks like the outer edges of the seat back.

Will probably get the bracketry from Somerfords.

Thanks

Depends on what belts you're trying to fit. The above relates to static 3 point belts.

http://www.roblightb...iniexamples.htm shows an MPI but not the mounting detail.

If you want inertia belts per standard fit there will be 3 lower mountings per belt rather than 2.
