Need to renew my policy by saturday read through it and find my comprehensive insuance does NOT allow me to drive any other cars anybody else noticed this ??

How old are you? And have you got it insured under a classic car policy?
57 and yes classic insuance

My dad is 55 and like you has the classic cars insured through Footman James on a limited mileage classic car policy. They don't however insure him to drive any other vehicles.
Check out if they will allow you to by adding a little more to your premium (dad has other daily cars and thus doesn't need that on the classic car policy) - not sure if classic car policies allow you to but it's worth finding out.
Lancaster Ins. allow you to drive other cars third party only and now my insurance has gone down another £30 still one or two to phone

Lancaster depends on who underwrites the insurance policy. NOT ALL lancaster policies include it.

Lancaster are generally ok. Had afew problems with them with cancellations etc, never claimed with them.
