the pods are bolted through the inner wing and the back of the pod with a single bolt, very secure when fitted so they won't pay you a visit if you have a bump!

Nothing too great, but ya know when your limited to a budget...
Compact Car Audio did me a pretty good deal I would say (Unless Ive been done!) £110 for the box with 12" Infintery sub and some audio cable. Notice the home made boot floor! Much better then the ill fitting Mini Trailers boot cover! And cheaper.
Very old Sony HD. Has been dropped, kicked, stepped on, got wet, caked in mud but yet, keeps on playing! With a little thump here and there to get the CD playing... Time to get a new one I think.
Cant recall how much these where (Or what they are and Ive only just gone out and looked!) A large set behind on the rear parcel shelf.
And lastly, you might call them "Chav" But I dont care, I think they're funky. Super Bright blue LEDs mounted on the rear and go in time with the bass. Pretty small, but they really do light up the inside of the mini! Handy when you drop somthing in the dark! And another light bar under the rear seats, comes on when I turn the AMP on (Mounted under the passenger seat) Via a switch on the dash.

Was that as loud as you could safely go?
What power are they running?
I got 134.5 db out of my single 10 at the southern mini days sound off at 3/4 volume.
A friend of mine got 142 db on a single 12 in his focus st on full volume.

all 3 subs are running off a single ipa1204 amp, 4ch 2400w. would have got alot more had I been running seperate amps but aint got nowhere to put them so was well chuffed with the result. it was at full volume by the way, with a friends sony headunit as i was having problems with mine.
Next install i make is gonna be for SQ(sound quality) instead of SPL as at top volume my install is very trebley n i dont like it.

SPL: Sound Pressure Levels
Generally these cars are set up to make a huge noise at a given frequency, but not really suited to music.
