Starting My Mini Up

Hi
I am new to this forum and saw this chat about Park Lane's, I used to own a 1987 Austin Mini Park Lane but had to sell it in 2009 as I went to University and couldn't afford to keep it. This is something I really regret and am on the hunt to find my old mini. I checked out the DVLA website yesterday and noticed the mini had been SORN in 2011. I came across a photocopy I had made of the log book with the new owners details to who I sold the car to. I have written to them a letter and am just waiting on a response (fingers crossed).
I was wondering if anyone knew anyone who owned a Park Lane with the licence plate D525 HUE - just in case I don't get a response from the person who purchased the mini from me.
This was my first car and the only car I ever really loved. I would love to be re-united with this car or at least know it is still being loved by someone.
