Where abouts are you? Apart from the boot floor, is there any other obvious rust? Cheers

Nice car and wouldn't take a lot of effort at a bodyshop to fix.

It is really annoying that people stick silly offers on the For Sale ads as this is overall a nice car.

Plenty of worse cars up for more money on ebay etc.

Good luck with the sale.

I Would agree with that, however the later minis do seem to rust heavily in hidden areas. I restored one a few years ago, every little rust scab turned into a hole rather than just needing treatment. For me, the value is in it being one of the last proper minis

would be obvious for me to agree here, but I do agree, at the end of the day it's one of the last made, and every mini has rust, it's gets fixed, it rusts again, it's the hobby we have got ourselves involved in!

massive apology mate I never got chance today, I had to goto my other mini. I have been fitting 4 pot brakes and I spent far too long trying to get the hub nut off, managed in end but took longer than I thought, if your still interested I will grab the bucket and my little micro fibre sponge
