Hi all...

 

I'm just re-doing a heater unit for my mini and have striped it down... all going good but I cant remove the knob that controls the air direction... (see below)

 

 

 

Can someone please give a little info on how to do this without destroying it?

 

The car didnt have a heater so going through the proces of getting one in... Also, can you buy a replacement stick on panel... the one that says Car, Screen Off etc...

Hi, They do come off. Get the knob as warm as you can, use a hair drier. Then pull in a straight line and if need be, rock and chatter the knob at the same time left to right and up and down, but just pull like crazy. I have got these off before so I do know they come off.

I managed to get the knob off and have sent a message to roofless...
