Hi guys

I have been thinking of posting for a while and thought it was time to put my story of preservation to print.....

what I have here is the Mini Magazine August 2000 cover car that I purchased from the restorer Tom...

I purchased it (I think) in 2004 as he was planning to move if I remember rightly and COLin needed a new home so money changed hands and I had my first mini sitting on mum and dad's driveway!

This then lead to joining the POSH (Peterborough) Mini Club and attending shows and just generally getting into the mini scene with what I thought was the best mini I have ever seen!!!!

To be continued.........

My mini adventure carried on with COLin in its post magazine feature state for about a year......after changing the front bumper to one without a dent!

I think we also changed the 998 for a 1275 MG metro engine while we were at it (me and Dad) but for some reason I cant remember doing this but I am assured we did!

I then decided that it was time to change the tired and dull interior for something a bit more bright and new to go with the exclusive Paul Smith Edition dash that had been fitted previously during the original build

so the search for a local specialist trimmer began.........................

Looks a nice little mini. Always good to have a bit of background info on them when you get one.
