looks like a homebrew exhaust manifold, I think a mg mini turbo plenum, depending on the turbo (im not hot on that but the Mg turbo came with a t3) and provided the turbo is in good nick (no play in the shaft) then I would imagine the kit you have is maybe £300 but im no expert on turbo bits and bobs

I'm no expert on this either, but it looks to have been designed so the bulk head does not have to be modified!

thats true but it wont fit with a later servo by the looks of it as i think the turbo would sit in the space above the bell housing

Looking at the pic,,

you have a
Home made manifold
Home made turbo plenum
Home made turbo flange
Home made oil return
A turbo that I am not sure what it is from the pic, or if it will work on a mini.
Turbo fuel pump
Turbo FPR
Inter cooler

Not to pee on your chips, but I would not be paying £300 for that lot. Maybe on ebay lol.

Hope this helps simon.

oh and by plenum above I meant intercooler, not sure why I said plenum! I guess I am a bit of a plenum and my estimate was based on the turbo being good as thats where the majority of the money is and the fact the manifold looks like it could be one that avoids bulkhead mods as they are a bit more sought after for obvious reasons :)

It's ok to have the manifold to turbo pipe, however you then need to make your self a Turbo down pipe, you'll also need the fuel side of things, be it a throttle body or carb....

In my opinion there's a collection of odd bits, by no means a 'kit' but the seed of an idea....

One of those things I'd stick on ebay at a low start and see where it ends up... it's not like you bought it, so it's free money whether £20 or £200

And I'd be the one putting a 20 quid bid on it for it to sit in the box in a garage!

As it stands mate it's worth what you payed for it, as it's home made there is no proof it even works as a kit. If you see what I mean?

There is a lot more to turboing a mini then just bolting it all on.

Yes i understand.... well then it will have to sit in my barn for a while along with all the other bits and bobs... as i have no idea how to fit the b***ard! haha

Cheers guys...

So £150 would be a good price to sell it for if i decided to get rid?!?!

I think identifying the turbo would assist in the valuation!

Hopefully someone who knows what they're talking about can assist!

What numbers are on the turbo? Any better pics of it?

As that's the only bit worth the money really
