Picked up my paint today and did a quick test on an old boot. Just to show how island blue looks in different lights and angles, the first picture of the boot is the only one that shows the true colour how it looks to the naked eye.
Also just found out today that these old classic pigments are pricey.

No worries bud. If you need it mixing up I can highly recommend marlow and Smale in north Devon.
They are bang on with their colours every time.

How come some island blue's look darker than others? I would prefer it to be a bit darker, something like this.

the shade of the colour can also be different depending on the colour of the primer used beneath it, white primer will make it a lighter shade than a yellow or grey primer

That's teal blue..... Looks like mine

Dunno what the shade of this blue is but it's ace and would look sweet in your driveway mate ;)
