Hi everyone

 

My 2000 mini cooper sport is now 14 years old and time to do a few small repairs. I removed the carpet and found this plate covering a couple of small holes. Does't seem to be doing much, except let water in !  Otherwise inner sill is good. I want to cut this out and weld in a new section.

 

 

The rear inner sill is excellent, after removing the Bitumen stuff.

 

 

Door step Needs a few repairs. I have replacement from Minisport, but dont want to replace the complete section. I will cut out the rot and replace in sections. What do you think?

 

 

 

When thats replaced, outer sills ( Heritage ) to fit. More pics as the repairs begin.
