Todays job at work got rescheduled, which meant a full day on the build :) ...

First up connected up and bled the clutch, then made up the air inlet, space is getting very tight now.

Not going to be able to fit the washer bottle in. Either try get a small one or fit it in the passenger footwell and relocate the pipes.

Then rebuilt the rear brakes as the old ones had siezed solid and got the rear wheels on.

Got the pipework all finished and clipped underneath then lowered the back to the floor 8)

More progress....

First up finished my dash alterations and got a few coats of primer on.

20140517_135626.jpg

Then paint.

20140517_182308.jpg

Got the ecu mounted behind the glove box, wrapped the lower dash rail in black vinyl, then secured the dashboard in place.

20140518_173104.jpg

Got the gauges wired up and radio in.

20140519_091444.jpg

Then got the front discs and calipers mounted. The hubs are still loose as waiting for some driveshaft bearings, which are due tomorrow.

20140519_175422.jpg

Fitted the string column, wheel and cowel.

20140520_193449.jpg

And finally made up a switch panel for my new toggle switches, warning lights and push button start.

Sorry forgot to say, I'm based in Whitby & I'm wanting to take a look at your subframe & how you have mounted it. By the looks of things you've used a metro subframe same as what I have, is this correct ? If so any chance I can call over one night with a tape messausre & discuss engine mounting issues. I'm just a little lost in how you find the best way to mount the engine, if it's out of line

I'm in Redcar and it's an Allspeed Engineering subframe. Bolts in piece of cake. :)
