Hi every one read so my plan is to drive 4602 miles from abu dhabi
to the wirral merseyside england
in my mini cooper
the advanture will start in mussafha abu dhabi up to Qatar across the border to saudi arabia not for to long I hope . Across to Bahrain up to kuwait checking the view of the persian gulf then a fast sprint through iraq and syria . Then a stroll across Turkey to Istanbul to serbia up to Budapest across to vienna in to Germany then Belgium up to the ferry
then most people will know the trip from dover to Liverpool
I am hoping to do the whole trip (adventure) in 10day then when I get the little lady home
she will be treated to a complete respray . Over the next month I will be buying things to aid with my trip
My only struggle will be storage space for tools clothing and food . And spare parts that I hope not to use
but today I come across my first hurdle ( tyres) it is so hard to get 165 60 r12 over here it is unbelievable and also a locking fuel cap lol I will update weekly on my progress until my depature date
then this will be my day to day log of the whole trip including any pictures I take on the way
wish me luck

I am in the process of applying for a carnet de passage and also a international driving permit so I dont get it to trouble
with the police in any of the above countries as far as im lead to believe I can pay for my tourist visa when crossing any borders from abu dhabi through to Europe . Got the oil got the coolant not got fan belts yet lol

I would also do a very good service before setting off, oil change, check brakes, grease everything, new air filter etc!

If you brake down in Kent I'll put you up for the night!
