I'm hoping to leave Abu Dhabi on the 5th of April and hit the uk on the 15th
I've got a lot of things to sort before I leave I won't the car to be 100%
And give me. A chance to get some parts sent over from the uk

Finish line is a bizarre choice.. Why the Wirral?  I can understand Birkenhead to Abu Dhabi! (or anywhere else for that matter) but not the other way around!

I am in the process of applying for a carnet de passage and also a international driving permit so I dont get it to troublewith the police in any of the above countries as far as im lead to believe I can pay for my tourist visa when crossing any borders from abu dhabi through to Europe . Got the oil got the coolant not got fan belts yet lol

I would also do a very good service before setting off, oil change, check brakes, grease everything, new air filter etc!If you brake down in Kent I'll put you up for the night!

Things have gone wrong if he goes to the wirral from Liverpool via Kent

a fast sprint through iraq and syria.....

A 'fast sprint through Syria' sounds like a good idea if recent news reports are to be believed or is it easy to avoid the troublespots and cross borders?........good luck with your trip.

One reason is from being a little child I have wonted to own a mini
And said when I came in possession of one I wonted to travel in it
So instead of getting her shipped back to the uk
I thought y not drive and then thought why not drive
And try to raise money for a children's charity the charity of
Choice will be Claire house children's charity once I have a charity number
I will post it up on here . So to cap it off I won't the mini back in the uk
And will be able to travel and raise a little something I hope in the process

This sounds epic. I have drove in Iraq before.. It was in a armoured warrior mind. The locals are nuts on the roads. Hopefully you'll document this well. Truely looking forward to this.
